Registration
The Steppencross is open to everyone, you don’t need a license or anything like that. Our aim is that everyone gets a starting place at the Stepopencoss. There will be no draw, if you register, a starting place is reserved for you. For children and young people the start is free of charge, for all adults we take a contribution towards expenses of between 15 and 30 €, with which you confirm your registration.
Because cycling is still heavily male-dominated, we want to make it easier for women and TIN* (trans, inter and non-binary people) to take part. Therefore, we will have an extra FLINTA* training day beforehand and we will offer childcare for the race times. If you have any other wishes or suggestions, please feel free to contact us.
The routes
Thanks to the Wokule and the Klosterfelde autocross club, we have a huge terrain at our disposal that offers plenty of challenges. Situated between the small and large Wukensee lakes, a few meters in altitude (spread over four longer climbs), soft ground and technical passages await you. We have been working for hours since the fall to build a route that will be fun and challenging for all of us.
All categories ride a large part of the route. We have added a few downhill sections and rock gardens especially for mountain bikes. The children’s races are adapted according to age group and offer different levels of difficulty.
You can find the latest pictures from the route on our Instagram account.
